Welcome to Highlander Home Improvement! By accessing or using our Home Care Plan services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully as they contain important information about your rights, responsibilities, and obligations.


Acceptance of Terms

Client agrees to have their card charged monthly per plan that they select. Highlander Home Improvement has authorization from homeowner to charge their card the applicable amount. Highlander Home Improvement ("Highlander Home Improvement," "we," "us," or "our") provides a Home Care Plan which includes home maintenance, repair, and improvement services to clients through in-person visits, consultations, and other related services. By accessing our website at www.highlander-homeimprovement.com ("the Site") or utilizing any of our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use our services. Highlander Home Improvement reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the services will constitute acceptance of the updated terms.


Privacy Policy

At Highlander Home Improvement, we are committed to protecting your privacy. We respect the privacy of our users. By using the Service, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of personal data and other data as outlined therein.


Scope of Services

Highlander Home Improvement provides a wide range of home repair, maintenance, and improvement services, which may include but are not limited to:

  • Basic handyman tasks
  • Carpentry and structural repairs
  • Painting and decorative finishes
  • Outdoor maintenance projects

We do not offer services for every type of repair or project. Certain complex or highly specialized tasks may fall outside the scope of our handyman services. These exceptions will be discussed with the client during the consultation phase.


Client Responsibilities
  • Unused Labor Hours Policy
  • Clients may accumulate unused labor hours for up to six (6) months. After this period, these hours can be applied toward larger projects, subject to approval.
  • Materials
  • Clients are responsible for purchasing and providing all required materials for the requested service. We can provide the material, additional material retrieval and delivery cost will be applied.
  • Our handymen come equipped with basic tools for the services offered. Specialty tools or equipment may not be available and will need to be provided by the client if necessary.
  • Site Access and Safety
  • Clients must ensure that the workspace is safe, accessible, and free from hazards before the scheduled appointment.
Scheduling and Priority Appointments
  • Priority Scheduling
  • Appointments are scheduled based on the type of service requested, the urgency of the issue, and the order in which requests are received.
  • Emergencies and urgent issues will always be treated as top priorities.
  • Rescheduling and Cancellations
  • Clients may reschedule or cancel appointments by providing at least 24 hours' notice.
  • Highlander Home Improvement reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, including emergencies or staff availability.

Project Exclusions and Limitations
  • Not all home improvement or repair projects qualify for our services. Certain specialized or large-scale construction projects may require external contractors.
  • Eligibility for projects will be determined during the initial consultation and discussed with the homeowner prior to beginning work.

Payment Terms
  • All payments must be made as agreed upon prior to the start of any project.
  • Unused labor hours cannot be refunded but may be applied to eligible future projects.
  • Any outstanding balances must be cleared before scheduling additional work.


Emergency Services

Highlander Home Improvement understands the importance of addressing urgent home repair issues promptly. In the case of emergencies, such as leaks or structural issues, we prioritize these appointments and strive to resolve them as quickly as possible.


Limitation of Liability

While Highlander Home Improvement aims to provide the highest quality service, we are not responsible for:

  • Damages resulting from pre-existing conditions in your home.
  • Issues arising from client-provided materials or equipment.
  • Incidents caused by third-party contractors or services.

Our liability is limited to the cost of services rendered.
